About CT-TAG
Mission Statement
We envision every student having the opportunity to learn about the concept of genocide and its direct relevance in the world today through public education. Our hopes are that, as a result of this education, an increasing number of Americans will become civically engaged, join the developing anti-genocide constituency, and become active in the critical effort to prevent and stop genocide.
In Connecticut, we work together with students, teachers, and legislators, to develop and implement the addition of meaningful, effective genocide education. We believe this type of education in the classroom is extremely important in promoting a sense of global awareness, compassion, and action.
